Matchroom summer round robin competition open to all members

For the first time ever the Matchroom Summer Round Robin will be open to juniors and senior members. All players will be handicapped to give players a fair chance.

In past years we have split the juniors and seniors, but due to popular demand and limited interested amongst senior participants, this year will see the young guns and the old heads fight it out!

Entry fees will be £15.00 for senior members and £10.00 for junior members. Every player who finishes all his/her matches and turns up at the final prize giving will be guaranteed a minimum prize of £15.00.

Matches will be played at the rate of one per week on a round robin basis. Arrangements can be made where holidays or exams clash with match weeks. Tables must be paid for on a 50/50 basis on all matches will consist of 5 frames.

There will be prizes for all entrants who complete their matches in a timely manner. The first prize will be a min. of £150 (subject to entries) and a chance to play a top professional at the next Matchroom exhibition at the end of 2007. We will also offer additional separate prizes to the best performing junior members.

The closing date for entries for this competition is Thursday May, 31st, 2007. Any member who wishes to enter should give their names and entry fees to staff. The first matches will be played week commencing 4th June, 2007.

Management decisions will be final regarding any disputes arising within this competition.
