Rich Rees wins Member of the Month Special draw

Richard Rees (pictured below with his son, Corey and Matchroom owner, Terry Griffiths) became the first winner of the Special Prize draw for Matchroom Member of the Month winners. Since November, 2006 the Matchroom has been rewarding the best snooker spenders each month.

The new till and membership system installed in July '06 allows management to monitor table time spend for any given period. At the end of each month, a report is generated showing which members have spent the most money on the tables.

Winners over the first 6 months have included Andrew Phillips, Richard Rees, James Walker and Neil Edwards. Monthly winners win vouchers for free snooker or 50% off vouchers for snooker at the Matchroom. A special prize draw was made for the winners to date with the lucky winner, Rich Rees, taking home a £150 gift voucher for snooker accessories at the Matchroom.

All Member of the Month winners from April 07 - February 08 will be entered into the next special prize draw. This next prize will include tickets and back stage passes (subject to availability) for a match at the 2008 World Championships at Sheffield. Accommodation and some travel expenses will also be included.

Member of the month winner for April, 2007 was Adrain Davies. He will be the first member into the hat for the Sheffield prize (to be drawn, March, 2008).
